1. Reservation and Rates
- To book lifeguarding services, a $10 non-refundable reservation fee is required. This fee secures your spot and is applied to your total cost.
- The standard rate for lifeguarding services is $60 per hour, plus $20 for each additional guard.
a. An additional lifeguard is required for every 15 guests in the pool or when additional amenities—such as slides, diving boards, or other features that increase risk—are present.
a) 1-15 guests: 1 guard Required
b) 16-30 guests and/or 1 amenity: 2 guards required
c) 31-45 Guests and/or 2 amenities: 3 guards required
2. Pool and Guest Requirements
a) For guests under 13 years old, a responsible adult must be present at all times during lifeguard services.
b) If pool conditions or the number of guests exceed the lifeguard’s capacity to ensure safety, the lifeguard may modify or cancel the service for safety reasons.
c) Lifeguarding services are provided for the scheduled time only. Any overtime will be charged separately and may be accommodated at the lifeguard’s discretion.
3. Payment Policies
a) The total cost for services is due before the event. Any overtime will be invoiced after the service.
b) Zelle Payment: We accept payments exclusively through Zelle.
c) Tipping Policy: Any monetary transactions made directly with a lifeguard are considered tips and are greatly appreciated as acknowledgment of their service. Tips are not mandatory but are welcomed as recognition of a job well done.
4. Cancellations and Make-ups
a) Cancellation: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel a booking, except in the case of weather-related cancellations, which require at least 3 hours’ notice.
- Examples of valid weather-related cancellations: Cold and rainy conditions, lightning, or dangerous/extremely inclement weather.
- Not considered valid: High temperatures alone do not qualify as a reason for cancellation.
a) Failure to provide proper notice will result in the forfeiture of the reservation fee.
b) Makeup Bookings: Lifeguard services can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice at no additional cost. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance are subject to availability and may incur a rebooking fee.
c) Group Events: If your event involves a group, rescheduling or cancellations are not available for individual guests. If the entire group decides to cancel, proper notice must be provided.
d) Refund Policy:
- Refunds are not issued for lifeguard services rendered. However, if we cancel services for reasons other than client behavior or noncompliance, you will receive a full refund for any unused time.
- If the lifeguard deems the pool environment unsafe or unsuitable, services will be terminated immediately, and a partial refund may be offered based on time spent.
5. Client Behavior & Pool Conditions
a) Client Conduct: The safety of all pool guests is our top priority. Clients and guests must follow all lifeguard instructions throughout the service. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of services with no refund.
b) Pool Safety: The pool must be in a safe and sanitary condition for lifeguarding services. If the pool is excessively dirty, unsanitary, or unsafe, we reserve the right to cancel services at any time for safety reasons.
